The Berlin Senate grants each year work stipends for the artistic development of professional authors who live in Berlin and who write in a language other than German. Stipends are provided for work processes of a limited duration, for the continuation or completion of specific work. Each year the grant holders present their work in public readings at Literarisches Colloquium Berlin, hosted by the jury members.
